Lowestoft & Yarmouth Rugby Club

At Lowestoft & Yarmouth RUFC we abide to the RFU Age Grade Rugby structure and the Kids First ethos. Under 9's (School Year 4) are looking to develop what they have learnt in tag rugby in passing and evasion with the introduction of tackling/3 second hold. Although newcomers find it very easy to grasp as the game is still very basic with no line outs, scrums and kicking involved in games at this age.

Everything is a step up from Under 8's tag rugby with slightly larger teams and pitches to ensure the children (Girls & Boys mixed teams) are being challenged both mentally and physically.

Under 9s training takes place on a Sunday Morning 10:30am.
